Sunscreens are made up of ‘active’ ingredients which are combined to protect our skin when it is exposed to the sun by either absorbing, reflecting, or filtering the UVR. Most sunscreens combined both Inorganic (Physical sunscreen) and Organic (Chemical sunscreen) ingredients to achieve SPF 50 – broad spectrum sunscreen.
Chemical refers to ingredients that absorb the UVR and Physical actively repel UVR.
